Itinerary

Day 1Bagan – Mindat [-/-/-]

The Temples of Bagan(Pagan), Mandalay, Myanmar

Private Car Pickup at your hotel in Bagan at 7am, relaxed 5-6 hours drive to Mindat (with plenty of stops on the way, as needed). Check in at Se Nang guesthouse and meet your guide, in the afternoon time to explore Mindat and enjoy the spectacular views together with your guide. Dinner at Myo Ma restaurant close to the guesthouse (own expense).

Day 2Mindat – Pu Kone – Loute Pe [B/L/D]

After breakfast at your guesthouse, the car will pick you up and we’ll be going down the mountain south of Mindat to the Chit Chaung river bridge, from where we will start our trek. Crossing a bamboo bridge, the trail leads us up for around 2 hours to the hilltop village of Pu Kone, where we will enjoy our home-cooked lunch, take a rest and have a look around the big village. Aftre that, it’s an easy 1-hour trek downhill/flat to the neighboring village of Loute Pe, where we should arrive right in time for the end of school, you’ll be greeted by dozens of excited primary-school students! After leaving our luggage at the house where we will stay for the night, there’s enough time to explore the village. Dinner at the village house, prtepared by your guide.

Day 3Loute Pe – Kyardo – Shein – Ein Moon[B/L/D]

After breakfast, we pack our bags and walk further into the valley to the very interesting and traditional village of Kyardo, where we will cross a wooden suspension bridge (also possible to swim) before hiking uphill for roughly 1 hour to the village of Shein, where we will enjoy our lunch. In the afternoon we enjoy an easy downhill walk along the so called “main road”, passing some villages and enjoying beautiful views, before we reach Ein Moon village, where there are especially many face-tattoo women living. Dinner will be prepared for you by your guide, overnight at a village house.

Day 4Ein Moon - Mindat - Bagan [B/-/-]

Chin State

After early breakfast in Ein Moon,it’s time to say Goodbye to beautiful Chin state! A short 30-minutes walk leads us back to the main road, where the car will pick you up and get you back to Mindat (short stop possible to pick up some souvenirs from the market) and then to Bagan (lunch stop on the way, own expense). You will arrive back to Bagan around 2pm and will be delivered to your Hotel or the airport!
